Julia is a registered psychologist with over five years’ experience in organisational psychology research and practice. She has a Master of Organisational Psychology from UNSW and is currently undertaking the registrar program for endorsement as an Organisational Psychologist under the Psychology Board of Australia. Julia joined Allworth Juniper in August 2016 to deliver and develop our psychological assessment services for employee selection and career development.  Prior to joining Allworth Juniper, she worked with a global HR services organisation where she acquired considerable knowledge and experience in psychological assessment.  Julia also worked for three years at UNSW as a Research Assistant for Dr Jo Earl, researching the latter stage of the employee lifecycle with a focus on successful and fulfilling retirement planning.  Julia is keen to ensure the use of the most valid psychometric assessment tools to assess for selection and role fit, and she is passionate about positive psychology, development coaching, and a growth mindset.

Julia’s professional experience includes:
  • Delivering psychometric assessment feedback and reports to hiring managers, HR and job candidates
  • Designing and conducting assessment centres
  • Writing position descriptions
  • Coaching participants through the results of individual, 360 and team assessment profiles
  • Designing and evaluating the results of engagement and culture surveys
  • Assisting with delivery of teamwork and strategy workshops to executive leadership teams
  • Co-author of a paper “Financial literacy, financial judgement, and retirement self-efficacy of older trustees of self-managed superannuation funds” published in the Australian Journal of Management in 2015
